You are probably looking at this site because you are interested in Alpacas having seen them at an agricultural/country show, have some spare land or perhaps you have recently purchased a luxurious garment made with Alpaca Fibre. Whatever your reason may be, we would like to share with you, our love for these gentle animals.
As the saying goes Small is beautiful and even though Abravo Alpacas are not the largest breeders in East Anglia we do promise you a professional, honest, and personal alpaca experience.
Abravo Alpacas our breeding programme ensures that we strive towards quality not quantity. We seek out and use prize winning studs for all our beautiful females to ensure that we continually improve the genetic conformation (all the right shaped bits in the correct places) and the characteristics of the fibre.
At Abravo Alpacas we are continually gaining more knowledge and experience through ownership and also through our wider involvement in the British Alpaca Society (BAS). Frances has organised alpaca classes at one of the largest shows in the country (East of England) as well as smaller venues, is secretary of the Eastern Region Alpaca Group, represents breeders in the East at National Committee level through the BAS and regularly writes articles for the National Alpaca magazine and presents to outside groups. Her latest challenge is to one of the first breeders to gain an international accredited qualification in Alpaca Fibre Sorting and Grading.
